On the 19th of October, 2019 was the commemoration where civil society organizations and political parties were invited those who came issued fraternal greetings.
The Social Democratic Party of Denmark (SDP) who are the ruling party currently having won elections this year sent one of their seasonal official who is also a parliamentarian for over eight (8) years leading the education portfolio in Denmark. In her speech she appreciate the goals and objectives, the values, vision, mission and the method of achieving multi-party through result oriented through sensitive peaceful dialogue.
She emphasized that peaceful dialogue root generates positive results but it will need partners and tolerance.
She mentioned that Denmark is a Kingdom as well, and once had an absolute Monarchy, who did not pay much attention to peoples’ issues but self. Through peaceful dialogue there was sufficient pressure to cause the Monarch to turn around and responded to people’s concerns, allowed democratic values and today Denmark is a Kingdom where political parties co-exist with the Monarch and they remain one of the most first world economic high fliers.
She believes SWADEPA was on the right party with the right ideology as they remain very sensitive to the concerns of the people, such as;
Ø Poverty reduction
Ø Job creation
Ø Food security
Ø Free skills focussed education
Ø Government aiming for zero tolerance to corruption
Ø Respect for the rule of law
Ø Right to land
Ø Beneficiation of on raw materials
Ø Respect and compliance to all international treaties to where we are signatories
